6491X (H07V-R & H07V-U) Cable
The 6491X cable is a single core low voltage insulated cable manufactured in accordance with BS EN 50525-2-31 (previously BS6004). It is available as a Class 2 stranded copper conductor (harmonisation code: H07V-R) or Class 1 solid copper conductor (harmonisation code H07V-U). Both types are suitable for power and lighting circuits and general building wiring. 6491X cable is intended for use in closed installation ducts, and in embedded or semi-flush exposed conduits. It is designed to be easily drawn into conduit and trunking, and it is ideal for the internal wiring of appliances in an enclosed and protected environment or as an earthing cable (green/yellow).
This cable has a voltage rating of 450/750V and an operating temperature range of -15oC to +70oC.
