Cockroach Bare and PVC
Our Network Rail approved 'Cockroach', an All Aluminium Conductor (AAC cable) is principally used in short-span railway overhead line power distribution systems with low, medium and high voltage ratings of up to 60kV.
Cockroach Cable Specification
It is suitable for use in the transmission and distribution of overhead line power where high conductivity is necessary.
The uninsulated version has excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for coastal installations. It provides an excellent weight to conductivity ratio.
The PVC insulated version is recommended for installations requiring additional protection against the challenges of the environment.
