H05RNH2-F Cable

Manufactured in accordance with harmonised standards, the H05RNH2-F is a variation of the more commonly specified 450/750V H07RN-F. H05RNH2-F is a flat configuration 2-core cable with EPR insulation and Chloroprene Rubber (CR) sheathing holding a designated voltage rating of 300/500V. 

H05RNH2-F Cable Sizes and Applications

Available in comparative small conductor sizes of 1.5mm² and 2.5mm² the H05RNH2-F is most commonly specified for decorative chains - think fairy lights and similar - to be used with appropriate lampholders. As such, it is commonly referred to as a light chain cable, powering multiple sequential connections. The sheathing colours available also reflect the application - the green perhaps being suited to temporary outdoor installations.

Whilst the cable is suited to temperatures as low as -25oC, it has an upper operating temperature limit of +60^oC - similar to many of the other flexible rubber cables in our portfolio. For higher operating temperatures using Rubber compounds, look to cables such as the H05GGH2-F flat cable where the conductor can operate at up to 110^oC.
