T0504 (formerly SE902) Cable
Our London Underground (LUL) approved T0504 cable is for DC traction indication circuits and signalling rail connection circuits.
T0504 Cable Specification
The T0504 cable (formerly known under the reference SE902) is a single core, with tinned copper conductors insulated and sheathed in a Limited Fire Hazard (LFH) compound. With a nominal operating voltage of 900V and voltage rating of 3kV to earth, the T0504 delivers the control signal which has identified the absence of a train on that particular section of line which confirms that it is safe for the train to proceed.
The T0504 cable is available as a 4-core cable, with cross-sectional conductor sizes of 0.5mm2.
