MCMO cables are widely used in the Finnish market in fixed installations. They have a voltage rating of 450/750V.

MCMO Cable Specification

The MCMO cables are designed for control and signalling functions in electrical power applications with a voltage rating of 450/750V. They are suitable for indoor installations, as well as being UV resistant and so appropriate for external use. They are also suitable for direct burial underground under Finnish construction regulations. These cables have a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) inner and outer sheath along with fire retardant properties.

MCMO Cable Sizes

Their multi-core Class 1 solid copper conductor construction makes them a comparatively rigid cable, with a bending radius of 12x OD during installation and 8x OD during operation, although their small cross-sectional sizes of 1.5mm2 and 2.5mm2 will counter this.
