N2XSEY Cable
N2XSEY cables are three-core class 2 stranded copper medium voltage cables manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-2. They have a cross-linked polyethylene (PE) insulation, copper wire screen, and a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) oversheath, which makes them particular easy to lay even in difficult line guideways and in temperatures as low as -5oC. As with all MV cables, there is an inner and outer layer of semi-conductive material to smooth out the internal discharges and maintain operational reliability.
N2XSEY Cable Specification
N2XSEY cables are widely used in the building and construction, renewable energy, and power transmission industries where the cables can be laid directly into the ground or cable ducts.
This range of Medium Voltage cables is compliant with VDE 0482-332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1, being flame retardant and self-extinguishing.
Single core variants of this cable - known by the designation N2XSY - have datasheets available in the following voltages: 6/10kV, 8.7/15kV, 12/20kV and 18/30kV.
