N2XSEY Cable
N2XSEY cables are three-core class 2 stranded copper medium voltage cables manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-2 and HD 620 10C. They are the three-core variants of the cable N2XSY where the 'E' in the designation refers to each of the three cores being individually screened.
N2XSEY Cable Specification
N2XSEY cables are widely used in the building and construction, renewable energy, and power transmission industries where the cables can be laid directly into the ground or cable ducts.
N2XSEY have a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, copper wire screen, and a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) oversheath, which makes them particular easy to lay even in difficult line guideways and in temperatures as low as -5oC. As with all MV cables, there is an inner and outer layer of semi-conductive material to smooth out the internal discharges and maintain operational reliability.
Being flame retardant and self-extinguishing, this range of Medium Voltage cables is compliant with the standard IEC 60332-1.
N2XSEY Cable Voltage
N2XSEY cables are available in voltages including: 6/10kV, 8.7/15kV, 12/20kV and 18/30kV. The technical datasheets for each are available below. These voltages support most medium voltage infrastructure and equipment requirements.
