NAYRY-J/O Cable

The NAYRY cable with its three cores plus reduced earth is a steel wire armoured PVC power cable. Manufactured for low voltage power distribution, it has a voltage rating of 0.6/1kV and meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0276-603. Typically supplied with sectorial shaped (SM) conductors it is available in additional core and size configurations on request or in RM round stranded conductors.

NAYRY-J & NAYRY-O Cable Specification

The NAYRY-J (with the -J designating the green/yellow core) is commonly used in European fixed industrial power applications, including local mains. Where required it can be buried directly in the ground. It should be noted that the steel wire armour, whilst offering mechanical protection, makes it rigid with a large bending radius of x15 overall cable diameter and so this should be considered when choosing the suitability of the NAYRY cable for your specific installation environment. Additionally, the PVC insulation means a maximum conductor operating temperature of +70oC and a minimum temperature of -5oC.

The NAYRY with its reduced size earth conductor is similar in application to the NA2XRY cable (XLPE insulation offering an upper operating temperature limit of +90oC) and the British standard BS5467.
