(N)TSCGEWÖU Cable Variations
The fibre optic cable - (N)TSCGEWOU FO – is available with data transmission speeds of 50/125 or 62.5/125 multimode and 9/125 single-mode. There is a rubber compound over this twisted core. The submersible cable has an inner sheath of Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) and is sheathed in a Chlorinated Polyethylene Rubber (CM) making it suitable for depths of up to 300m. The ZH Halogen free (N)TSCGEWOU cable has a Polyurethane inner and outer sheathing material that doesn’t emit toxic gases in the event of fire. The outer sheathing colour of the variants may differ from the red sheath of the standard (N)TSCGEWOU cable.
