RG7H1R Airport Lighting Cable
The RG7H1R cable offers a rubber insulated PVC sheathed cable suitable for airfield lighting equipment powering runway, taxiway and apron lights, and navigational and obstruction aids. This cable is CPR compliant, making it suitable for European fixed wiring applications running or terminating inside a structure.
RG7H1R Airport Cable Voltage and Sizes
This RG7H1R cable has a very specific application. A single core cable, the RG7H1R it is offered with a cross-sectional conductor size of 16mm2. Other sizes are available on request. The RG7H1R cable is a power distribution cable with a number of more general applications and rated voltages but this has a voltage rating of 3.6/6kV as most commonly specified in airfield installations.
The specific type of rubber insulation limits the operating temperature range to 0oC to +90oC. Where lower temperatures are anticipated in the installation environment, the RHV or RHZ1 cables or FLYCY & FL2XCY cables may be more appropriate. FAA standard L-824 cables are also provided as part of our wider primary and secondary airfield lighting range.
