S1108 (formerly 1-108 & EME-SP-14-025) Cable

The S1108 cable is a London Underground Approved trackfeeder cable designed to provide power to the traction conductor rail as part of the DC traction circuit. It can also be used to connect two lengths of conductor rail to each other.

S1108 Track Feeder Cable Specification

Formerly referenced as 1-108 & EME-SP-14-025, the S1108 trackfeeder is immediately identifiable by the yellow stripe that runs down the length of the outer sheath. With a stranded tinned copper conductor, EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) insulation, and an LSZH outer sheathing, this cable is designed to be run in internal and enclosed spaces, including tunnels. 

Available with cross-sectional areas of 500mm², 630mm² and 935mm², the cable has a Voltage Rating of 750V DC.
