SE0875 Cable

The SE0875 screened track crossing cable has a voltage rating of 450/750V and is manufactured in accordance with London Underground specifications.

SE0875 Cable Specification

The SE0875 Screened Track Crossing Signalling cable is used in London Underground signal safety circuits where these circuits are required to cross the track at ballast level (the trackbed the railway sleepers are laid upon). This screened track crossing signalling cable offers resistance to oil and abrasion.

A multicore cable, available with either 5 or 10 cores with a nominal cross sectional area size of just 1.16mm2, the screening is provided by a Tinned Copper Wire Braid (TCWB) helping to protect from electromagnetic interference. The cores of this cable are laid up around a crush absorbing filler to provide resistance against mechanical stresses in this environment.

As cables designed for use in enclosed spaces and tunnels, the SE0875 has a Low Smoke Zero Halogen outer sheathing to limit the smoke and toxic fumes in the event of fire.
