SE1047 Cable
SE1047 cables are for signalling applications on the London Underground, as detailed in the Approved Product Register.
SE1047 Cable Specification
These concentric signalling cables are designed to provide safety critical signals between central termination frames and signalling equipment. These cables are suitable for installation in trackside bracket runs.
These highly visible red sheathed cables have a voltage rating of 600/1000V and an operating temperature range of -15oC to +85oC.
SE1047 Type 1 and Type 3 cables are PVC sheathed
SE1047 Type 2 and Type 4 cables have a Limited Fire Hazard (LFH) sheathing.
Types 3 and 4 have an additional tinned copper wire braid to provide electromagnetic screening to reduce signal interference.
