The Cable Lab® adds the BSi RoHS Trusted Kitemark™ to its credentials

Eland Cables has been awarded the BSI RoHS Trusted Kitemark^™, a distinction only available to organisations that can demonstrate their ability to comply with the RoHS Directive. This makes Eland Cables the only dedicated cable supplier holding this distinction in the United Kingdom. Kevin Chapman, Commercial Director, said: “It is very pleasing to, once again, be breaking new ground in the cable industry by securing the BSI RoHS Trusted Kitemark™. The RoHS (The Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances) Directive restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electronic and electric equipment. The BSi RoHS Trusted Kitemark™ is a further prestigious accreditation for the Cable Lab, Eland Cables’ in-house specialist cable testing laboratory, which is also UKAS accredited to ISO 17025.
